Change in Trade Name of the Company

Sumisho Steel Corporation has decided on a new trade name and hereby provides notice as follows of the change to the new trade name effective April 1, 2016.

The new trade name is a manifestation of the company’s intent to exercise the full capabilities of the Sumitomo Corporation Group to provide the metals essential to people’s day‐to‐day lives to every corner of the world and to become a presence that supports social development.
